Creative Meditation

Meditation doesn't have to be done sitting on a cushion, cross-legged, paying singular attention to the breath.  Actually, not much is required to meditate other than an intention to do so by focusing attention on a simple, repetitive task, gently nudging the mind to return to focus when it wanders.

Set a Timer

I set a timer at the beginning of my meditation so I don't have to keep peeking at the clock.  It allows me to relax into the meditation without trying to keep track of time.
